Recruiter (Temporary)
Divergent is seeking a temporary Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment for various high-impact roles across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and business functions. This position requires close collaboration with hiring managers and leadership to develop proactive hiring strategies, ensuring the attraction and acquisition of top-tier talent. The role is based in Torrance, California, with an expectation of being on-site two to three days per week.
Key responsibilities include owning the recruitment process for positions ranging from mechanical, software, and robotics engineers to finance, supply chain, program management, and operations roles. The Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to define roles, craft job descriptions, and align on recruiting strategies. Additionally, the role involves sourcing and engaging high-caliber candidates through various channels, conducting structured interviews, delivering a high-touch candidate experience, and supporting employer branding initiatives.
Candidates should have at least three years of recruiting experience, covering both technical and non-technical roles. Experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing environments is preferred, along with a background in high-growth or startup settings. Strong sourcing and closing skills, proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach are essential for success in this role.
The compensation for this position ranges from $43 to $55 per hour.
