Receptionist
Clifford Chance, a leading international law firm with over 30 offices worldwide, is seeking a full-time Receptionist for its Washington, DC office. The firm is renowned for delivering high-quality legal services that blend global standards with local expertise. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, embodying the firm's commitment to excellence and client service.
As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for greeting visitors, clients, and colleagues with professionalism and enthusiasm. You will manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate colleagues and handling inquiries promptly. Additional duties include assisting the Conference Services Coordinator with meeting bookings, catering orders, and in-office events, as well as providing general clerical and administrative support. You will also maintain office concierge guides and foster relationships with local vendors and venues.
Ideal candidates should have 2-3 years of front desk or reception experience in a law firm, professional services firm, or hospitality setting. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, is necessary. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and able to work on-site five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Clifford Chance offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $57,000 to $62,000 annually, with actual compensation commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
