The Radiation Effects Scientist will support electronics and optoelectronics products and new designs across the Voyager enterprise. This role is integral to ensuring the radiation hardness and reliability of space systems, contributing to the company's mission of delivering transformative, mission-critical solutions in space, defense, and national security technology.

Key responsibilities include formulating and documenting radiation hardness requirements for space systems, developing technical documents for requirements and verification, providing subject matter expertise to support radiation testing, hardness assurance, and error rate prediction, building and leading multi-disciplinary teams to execute radiation test campaigns, and participating in internal and customer design reviews.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or an MS or Ph.D. with relevant research or work experience. A solid understanding of radiation effects on electronic and optoelectronic parts, direct working knowledge or demonstrated capacity to perform radiation effects testing of electronic parts, and hands-on experience with electrical test equipment are essential. Experience in the satellite industry is highly desirable.

The position offers a competitive base salary range of $165,000 to $205,000, depending on experience, skills, and location.
