Quality Specialist Engineer
Eurofins is seeking a Quality Specialist Engineer to join our Professional Scientific Services (PSS) team in Ringaskiddy. This full-time, permanent role involves supporting GMP operations by providing expert oversight and guidance on investigations, change controls, and compliance activities within the maintenance and engineering functions. The Quality Specialist Engineer will be responsible for ensuring strict adherence to GMP standards across all maintenance and engineering operations. Key duties include reviewing and assessing change control documentation, deviations, and failure investigation reports, identifying significant non-conformances, and supporting timely, compliant resolutions. The role also involves coaching and supporting maintenance and engineering personnel in executing investigations and change controls, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Candidates should hold a BSc in Biotech, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline, supported by relevant industry experience in a regulated environment. A strong customer-centric approach is essential, with the ability to actively gather and apply customer feedback to improve services and outputs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to meeting both internal and external stakeholder expectations while ensuring processes are designed with the customer in mind.
