Quality Assurance Engineer, Manufacturing

Xometry is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Detroit, MI. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our quality systems in alignment with AS9100 standards. In this role, you will lead process improvement projects to enhance supplier quality programs and procedures, ensuring our global partner network's success. Your responsibilities will include utilizing quality tools to address non-conformances, managing supplier-related corrective actions, analyzing non-conformance trends, and overseeing internal production from a quality perspective. Additionally, you will assist with onsite customer audits and support our Quality Management System requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field, with 4-6 years of experience in engineering or quality roles, including supplier-facing positions. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering drawing requirements, and Six Sigma methodologies is essential. Proficiency in root cause analysis, project management, and the ability to interpret CAD models and drawings are also required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $84,000 to $109,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
