The QHSE Associate III at Avetta is responsible for reviewing and verifying safety and health programs, procedures, and training pre-qualification requirements for Avetta's clients and contractor members. This role is integral to ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and client-specific requirements, contributing to Avetta's mission of enhancing safety and sustainability in supply chains.

Key responsibilities include conducting manual audits to assess contractors' safety and health documentation, assisting customers in addressing deficiencies identified during audits, providing guidance to develop compliant policies and procedures, and performing customer verifications to facilitate audit closures. The QHSE Associate III is also expected to respond promptly to customer inquiries, maintain accurate records of interactions, and escalate unresolved issues to designated safety professionals as necessary.

The ideal candidate should possess the ability to interpret and make decisions based on regulatory standards such as OSHA, EPA, and MSHA, along with industry best practices and client requirements. Proficiency in online software systems, strong PC skills, and the capacity to multitask and manage priorities are essential. Good written and oral communication skills are required, with bilingual proficiency in Spanish or French being advantageous. A background in safety auditing, contractor prequalification verification, or a related safety profession is preferred.

Avetta offers a competitive salary range of $46,500 to $62,500 per year, along with benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
