QC Utilities & Raw Materials Team Lead

The QC Utilities & Raw Materials Team Lead at Eurofins is a pivotal role within the Quality Control department, focusing on the oversight and execution of testing procedures for utilities and raw materials in a regulated biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This position combines hands-on laboratory work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintaining the integrity of testing processes.

Key responsibilities include performing quality control tests such as pH, conductivity, nitrate identification, Total Organic Carbon (TOC), and appearance assessments. The role also involves receiving, handling, logging, and disposing of samples in accordance with GMP requirements, calibrating laboratory instruments, accurately documenting test results, and investigating any quality anomalies. Additionally, the Team Lead utilizes Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for sample management and data entry, maintains laboratory supplies, and ensures adherence to all regulatory, safety, and data integrity standards.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline, along with at least one year of cGMP laboratory experience and one year of leadership or team lead experience. Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multitask and work both independently and collaboratively are essential. Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is also required.
