QC Scientist - Microbiology Pharma (80 - 100%)

Eurofins is seeking a QC Scientist specializing in Microbiology to lead projects introducing and validating innovative microbiological analytical methods within our GMP-regulated QC laboratory. This role is integral to the significant growth of our business in Switzerland, focusing on implementing new analytical methods and equipment in the microbiological laboratory.

Key responsibilities include leading projects focused on the implementation of new analytical methods and equipment, planning and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory guidelines, managing project timelines and resources, providing technical expertise on analytical methods, preparing and reviewing documents related to equipment qualification and method validation, and training and mentoring laboratory staff.

The ideal candidate will have completed studies in life sciences (pharmacy, biochemistry, biology, ideally microbiology) and possess at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a regulated environment (ISO 17025, GLP, ideally GMP). Experience in pharmaceutical quality control in microbiology and clean water analysis is essential. Technical expertise in utility testing (e.g., TOC, conductivity, cleaning validation, gas testing) is advantageous. Strong customer and service orientation, solid understanding of IT and Office applications (ideally with LIMS systems), and proficiency in German and English are required.
