The QC Medical Packaging Scientist at Eurofins is responsible for conducting evaluations and laboratory testing on primary container-closure components, critical secondary packaging, and shipping systems. This role involves utilizing mechanical testing equipment, dimension measurement instruments, and container closure integrity testing systems to ensure the quality and safety of medical packaging materials. The scientist will work within a collaborative team environment, contributing to Eurofins' mission of providing high-quality analytical testing services across various industries.

Key responsibilities include executing established methods, collecting data, and documenting results in laboratory notebooks and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). The scientist will participate in the development of laboratory test methods and equipment to enhance the reliability and accuracy of results. Regular interaction with colleagues from other groups is expected to ensure cohesive operations. All activities must adhere to established safety standards, regulatory requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or technology, or have equivalent directly-related experience, where two years of industry experience equate to one year of college education. A Bachelor's degree with two to four years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with up to two years of experience, is preferred. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship is required.

The position offers a competitive hourly compensation ranging from $23.65 to $25.88. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with potential for overtime, weekend, and holiday work based on business needs.
