QA Engineer

Envoy Global is seeking a QA Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad, India. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment focused on delivering high-quality solutions in the global immigration space.

In this role, you will be responsible for writing and executing manual test cases based on requirements, performing functional, regression, and smoke testing, and identifying and tracking defects using JIRA. You will collaborate closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and support basic automation testing efforts. Additionally, you will perform basic API testing using Postman and assist with test data preparation and validation using SQL. Participation in Agile/Scrum meetings and contributing to QA process improvements are also key aspects of this position.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in software testing, encompassing both manual and automation testing. A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Candidates should possess a good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and basic Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts, familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, and basic knowledge of API testing using Postman. Basic understanding of SQL for simple queries, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
