Pursuits & Directories Business Development & Marketing Coordinator - Global
DLA Piper is seeking a Pursuits & Directories Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to join its Business Development's Pursuit team. This role involves collaborating with colleagues to create compelling deliverables that position the firm to win work. The position is available in multiple office locations, including Washington D.C., Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Tampa, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Minneapolis, Northern Virginia, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Raleigh, Seattle, Short Hills, and Wilmington, offering a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, the coordinator will support the MBD team by developing client-centric, compliant, and timely pitch and introductory materials for business development purposes. Responsibilities include creating initial pitch and proposal drafts, updating them based on attorney and colleague input, and participating in discussions to identify win themes. The coordinator will also assist in maintaining standard materials, ensuring they are updated consistently post-pitches, and collaborate with attorneys and colleagues on directory submissions.
Candidates should possess excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with experience in database management systems and presentation software. A general understanding of business development within a law firm environment is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preference for a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related discipline. A minimum of two years of project or production experience, including management of pitches and proposals in a professional services environment, is preferred.
The compensation for this position ranges from $31.90 to $43.44 per hour, depending on the candidate's geographic market location. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
