This role serves as the primary liaison between core engineering milestones and the global media, ensuring the vision for a scalable, decentralized future is communicated with clarity and impact.
The Public Relations Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining deep relationships with key journalists, editors, and influencers across both the Web3/crypto trade press and mainstream financial/tech outlets. They will develop and execute comprehensive PR campaigns for major network milestones, partnership announcements, and ecosystem growth initiatives. Additionally, the role involves writing high-stakes press releases, executive op-eds, and thought-leadership pieces that position the founders as leading voices in the blockchain scalability space. Managing the project's reputation by drafting rapid-response messaging for technical upgrades or market-wide events and securing high-profile speaking engagements at major global industry events are also key responsibilities.
Candidates should have over 5 years of professional experience in Public Relations or Communications, with a proven, established network of media contacts within the tech and cryptocurrency sectors. Extensive experience drafting press releases and managing media inquiries for high-growth tech or blockchain projects is essential. A deep understanding of the Layer 1 landscape, scalability solutions, and broader Web3 market dynamics is required. The ability to work effectively with remote, global teams across various time zones is also important.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience.
