Prüfingenieur Consumer Electronics & Measurements (CEM)
Eurofins Electric & Electronic Product Testing AG is seeking a dedicated Prüfingenieur Consumer Electronics & Measurements (CEM) to join our accredited safety testing laboratory in Fehraltorf, Zurich. As part of our team, you will contribute to enhancing health and product safety by providing comprehensive testing and certification services in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), radio communication, and electrical and mechanical product safety.
In this role, you will independently assess electrical laboratory devices and high-end electronics for compliance with relevant standards, generating detailed test reports and conformity assessments. You will collaborate closely with clients to address normative inquiries, develop testing concepts, and estimate the time required for evaluations, ensuring projects are managed efficiently from inception to completion.
The ideal candidate possesses experience with IEC 61010 and/or IEC 62368 standards, along with a background in handling product certifications. A foundational education in electrical engineering is required, with a higher education degree (HF) in the field being advantageous. Several years of professional experience in a testing laboratory setting are essential, complemented by entrepreneurial thinking, versatility, and a strong commitment to quality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and fluency in both German and English are necessary; knowledge of French is a plus.
