As a Project Leader for HVAC, electricity, sprinklers, and elevators at Vanhout, you will oversee the technical installations across multiple construction sites. Vanhout, a leading class 8 contractor headquartered in Geel, has been delivering ambitious construction projects throughout Flanders for over a century. Our diverse portfolio includes healthcare facilities, office buildings, residential projects, sports infrastructure, and industrial complexes.
In this role, you will conduct comprehensive risk analyses in collaboration with project leaders and directors. You will coordinate and monitor technical installations on 2-3 sites, including preparing and following up on technical studies, liaising with subcontractors and engineering firms, analyzing and comparing subcontractor proposals, and providing technical input for work orders. Additionally, you will review technical plans, data sheets, schematics, and execution files, ensuring adherence to planning, budget, and quality standards in close cooperation with project and site managers.
The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in electromechanics, electricity, climate control, industrial engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction sector, engineering firms, or installation industry. A strong knowledge of HVAC techniques and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical aspects in large construction projects are essential. Familiarity with technical regulations (AREI, EPB, fire safety) and basic proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Revit, ACC, and MS Project are required. Fluency in Dutch is necessary, with a working knowledge of French and English being advantageous.
