The Project Technology IV role at CannonDesign is a pivotal position within the Technology Solutions group, focusing on leading client engagements, managing project workflows, driving business development, and mentoring staff. This role is remote within the U.S., with a preference for candidates located in or near Arlington, VA; Baltimore, MD; Boston, MA; Buffalo, NY; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Minneapolis, MN; Pittsburgh, PA; or St. Louis, MO.
Key responsibilities include designing structured cabling systems, audio/visual systems, electronic security systems, nurse call systems, distributed antenna systems, outside plant, data networking, LAN/WAN, voice and data architecture, and data centers. The role also involves establishing and communicating assignments to team members, overseeing team progress, coordinating team activities and goals, and collaborating with the A/E design team to identify technology scope and implement design of technology systems in multiple markets.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, with a preference for degrees from an ABET-accredited program. A minimum of 8 years of related experience is required, along with knowledge of designing structured cabling systems, audio/visual systems, electronic security systems, nurse call systems, distributed antenna systems, outside plant, data networking, LAN/WAN, voice and data architecture, and data centers. An understanding of applicable design codes, including NFPA, FGI, NEC, BICSI, and EIA/TIA, is essential. Proficiency in Revit is preferred.
The salary range for this position is $86,580 to $108,270 annually. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
