Project Manager
BESIX Unitec Nederland is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects within their Infra Automation division. The company specializes in the automation of large network infrastructures, including the renovation and maintenance of locks, bridges, and tunnels. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all activities necessary for the realization of technically complex projects. This includes defining project scope, conducting impact analyses, developing budgets and project plans, and ensuring projects meet organizational requirements, methodologies, and quality and safety standards. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, as well as overseeing administrative, commercial, and legal aspects of projects.
Candidates should possess a master's degree in industrial engineering with a focus on electromechanics and have at least 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction sector, preferably with experience in hydraulic engineering or lock construction. Experience with Integrated Project Management (IPM) is ideal. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with knowledge of construction regulations and standards. The ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment is also required.
