Project Engineer
The Project Engineer at Voyager Technologies, Inc. serves as the technical liaison between engineering teams, program management, manufacturing, and testing to ensure efficient execution of programs and projects. This role is integral to maintaining technical integrity and meeting project milestones within budget constraints.
Key responsibilities include acting as the technical lead for assigned programs, coordinating engineering changes, supporting design and gate reviews, preparing program execution plans, and ensuring proper allocation and flow-down of system-level requirements. The Project Engineer also tracks compliance to requirements, supports verification and validation plans, identifies and mitigates technical risks, collaborates with suppliers, and engages with customers and executives to provide project updates.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or aerospace engineering with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Candidates should have experience in developing and integrating hardware and software across various engineering disciplines, familiarity with requirements management software, and proven leadership abilities to lead projects to completion.
Preferred qualifications encompass domain experience in areas such as Satellite Communications, RF or processor PCBA design, space electronics hardening, and execution of government contracts.
