Project Engineer
BESIX Watpac is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team for the next phase of Adelaide Airport's infrastructure upgrade, known as Project Flight. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering this significant project, contributing to our mission of creating sustainable solutions for a better world.
In this role, you will coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications. Your responsibilities will include interpreting designs for construction implementation, contributing to design improvements, arranging and overseeing the letting of tenders, assisting with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports, and monitoring construction progress to ensure adherence to the program.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in building, construction, or a related field. You should have the ability to communicate effectively, influence, and build relationships at all levels of the business. Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, and decision-making skills is essential. Experience in delivering results in high-pressure environments and a high level of professionalism and maturity in daily work ethic are also required.
