Project Administrator
CannonDesign is seeking a Project Administrator to provide essential administrative support to project teams in their Dallas, Texas office. This role involves both office-based tasks and potential client and on-site visits as required.
Key responsibilities include coordinating with internal and external team members to gather project updates and deliverables, organizing onsite client meetings, assisting in report generation, supporting project proposals and contracting efforts, preparing project team memos and presentations, transcribing meeting notes, and managing accounts payable by reviewing and responding to consultant statements. Additional duties involve supporting Practice and Operations leaders in reviewing project performance, assisting Project Managers with consultant invoice approvals, monitoring project processes, aiding in fee development during proposals, managing project expenses for billing, preparing complex spreadsheets and databases, assisting with project staffing data, maintaining financial records, and setting up and maintaining project files according to firm standards.
Candidates should possess a High School Diploma, with an Associate’s degree preferred, and have a minimum of 4 years of experience in related roles, preferably within the architecture, engineering, or interior design industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills, presentation abilities, teamwork, time management, organizational skills, and the capacity to handle multiple projects to meet deadlines are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required, with InDesign experience preferred. Experience with Procore and Newforma software, as well as video and audio meeting technologies, is advantageous. MS Project schedule development experience is also preferred.
The salary range for this position is $28.75 to $35.93 per hour, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses.
