Product Seeding Executive
The Product Seeding Executive is a pivotal role within WPP Beauty Tech Labs, a specialized team embedded within Wavemaker, dedicated to delivering innovative influencer and advocacy marketing for L'Oréal Groupe. This position focuses on developing and executing product seeding strategies across L'Oréal's 32 beauty brands, spanning four divisions. The goal is to connect the right products with the right creators to generate authentic brand advocacy at scale. Success in this role contributes to enhancing brand visibility, sentiment, and consumer engagement across some of the world's most iconic beauty brands.
Key responsibilities include managing relationships with influencers, creators, and industry tastemakers across L'Oréal's full brand portfolio. This involves overseeing all outreach, communications, and follow-ups to ensure seeding activities are targeted, timely, and impactful. The role requires strong coordination across brand teams, the Chief Digital Marketing Officer (CDMO), and division leads to align seeding programs with broader campaign launches and brand objectives. Additionally, the executive will lead the end-to-end production and dispatch process, managing third-party supplier relationships for product shipping, warehousing, kitting, and reporting, as well as the design and production of gifting kits developed in partnership with L'Oréal brand teams. Performance tracking is central to the role, utilizing platforms like Traackr and proprietary tools to measure seeding activity and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in product seeding, influencer marketing, or social media marketing, with a strong understanding of the creator ecosystem within the beauty category. Hands-on experience across major social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube is essential, along with proficiency in influencer marketing platforms like Traackr, Tagger, or CreatorIQ. The role demands exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent seeding programs across different brands and deadlines without compromising quality. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for building and maintaining relationships with creators, influencers, and internal stakeholders across multiple teams and seniority levels.
