Product Marketing Manager
Censys is seeking a technically adept Product Marketing Manager to serve as a bridge between product, engineering, and customers. This role involves leading the creation and execution of a compelling value proposition, built on a deep understanding of market share, competitive landscape, technical nuances, and customer use cases. The ideal candidate will craft targeted messaging and product marketing collateral that resonates across all channels, ensuring strong alignment with buyer and influencer personas.
Key responsibilities include establishing the unique value proposition and messaging for Censys, authoring high-quality content in various formats, launching products, collaborating with marketing teams to execute campaigns, and enabling sales and channel teams to become subject matter experts in Internet intelligence. The role also involves defining and executing the technical marketing plan for one or more product areas, leading technical storytelling and go-to-market efforts, translating customer needs into collateral, and participating in product roadmap discussions.
The position requires over five years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly in Security Operations, Threat Hunting, Attack Surface Management, or Cyber Threat Intelligence technologies, with roles in product marketing, product management, or solutions engineering. Candidates should have knowledge of Internet infrastructure related to tracking malware or APTs, experience managing Product-led Growth initiatives, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders and customers. Creative thinking and experience with marketing campaigns targeting security decision-makers are also essential.
For high-cost living areas such as San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City, the expected salary range is $145,000 to $186,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility and equity. For all other locations, the expected salary range is $127,000 to $160,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility and equity.
