The Product Lead - Content Group at Canva is responsible for building a world-class content experience, encompassing platform development, content review, understanding, localization, and enhancing the experience for creators and content partners. This role involves owning the strategy and roadmap for the content area, working closely with the General Manager, Engineering, and Design counterparts to drive the vision forward.

Key responsibilities include actively driving the strategy to build the world’s most diverse and enriched AI training data library, collaborating with product, design, marketing, and operations stakeholders to identify and deliver opportunities to amplify content, and leading a team of Product Managers to achieve bold content goals and drive engagement on Canva. The role also involves creating a vision and defining the future roadmap for the product area, as well as developing a more nuanced and efficient approach to content production to scale operations while maintaining quality.

The ideal candidate has experience leading product initiatives at a high-growth company with an international presence, particularly in content, marketplace, or other complex product domains. A strong understanding of generative AI trends and common practices is essential. The candidate should have a proven track record of collaborating with and leading product teams to deliver complex roadmaps, excellent communication skills to coordinate cross-functionally, and the ability to generate insights based on vision, data, and user feedback. An ownership mentality, proactive approach, and high organizational skills are also important.
