The Product Finance & Strategy Manager at Checkr will play a pivotal role within the Financial Planning & Strategy (FP&S) team, focusing on the growth and development of new and emerging products. This position involves close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Go-To-Market (GTM), and Analytics teams to lead financial planning, evaluate new opportunities—including pricing and use-case expansion—and inform investment decisions. The role is designed for individuals who can combine strong financial judgment with swift execution in ambiguous environments, leveraging AI tools to enhance planning, insights, and decision support.

Key responsibilities include owning financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for a portfolio of new and growth products. The manager will partner with Product, Engineering, GTM, and Analytics teams to support roadmap development, investment decisions, and operational strategies. Additionally, the role involves evaluating new products, use cases, pricing, and packaging opportunities using financial and strategic frameworks, and delivering clear, data-driven insights on growth, margin, risk, and ROI to inform executive decisions. Utilizing AI tools to improve planning speed, analysis quality, reporting workflows, and decision support is also a critical aspect of the role.

Candidates should possess 6–9+ years of experience in strategic finance, product finance, business operations, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or similar analytical roles. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills across forecasting, scenario analysis, pricing, and investment cases are essential. Experience partnering with Product and/or Engineering teams on roadmap development, prioritization, and resource allocation decisions is required. The role demands strong business judgment and executive communication skills, with the ability to turn ambiguity into clear, decision-ready recommendations. A high level of ownership, a bias for action, and either experience in or a desire to become "AI Native" to improve decision-making are also important.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary range of $161,000 to $189,000 USD, along with competitive cash and equity compensation and opportunities for advancement. Benefits include 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage, up to $25K reimbursement for fertility, adoption, and parental planning services, a flexible PTO policy, and a monthly wellness stipend. The work environment is fast-paced and collaborative, with a learning and development allowance provided.
