Product Engineer
Experian is seeking a Product Engineer to join our Product Development team. This role involves engaging in the full software development lifecycle, including research and development, design, implementation, integration, testing, and deployment of software applications. As a Product Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive our business forward.
Key responsibilities include leading specific application module development activities, conducting technical analysis and design of application modules and databases, and providing technical expertise and guidance to developers. You will ensure that developed modules meet established architecture and standards by conducting code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing. Additionally, you will be expected to contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate must possess a Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in systems design and software implementation. Proficiency with CodeIgniter, Bootstrap, and MVC architecture is required, along with experience in developing RESTful APIs with XML/JSON. Familiarity with SDK integration and mobile development for iOS and Android platforms is advantageous. A good understanding of Agile methodologies, SCRUM, SDLC, and software design concepts is essential. Strong skills in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are also necessary.
