Product Design Intern - Summer 2026

BetterHelp is seeking a Product Design Intern for Summer 2026 to join our diverse team dedicated to making mental health care more accessible. As the world's largest online therapy service, we provide affordable and convenient therapy globally, connecting millions with licensed therapists. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that enhance our platform and user experience.

In this position, you will own a design project from concept to execution, integrating feedback and iterating along the way. Responsibilities include designing thoughtful UI/UX solutions informed by user research and testing insights, engaging in constructive feedback loops to elevate design standards, contributing to UI enhancements and design updates, and leveraging the design system to ensure consistency and scalability across solutions.

We are looking for candidates proficient in Figma for UI/UX design, prototyping, and collaboration, with strong visual design skills and a collaborative mindset. A passion for product thinking and a user-centered approach to problem-solving are essential. Experience from a bootcamp, design course, or relevant college coursework is required, along with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges. A portfolio showcasing your design process and final work is necessary.

The hourly rate for this position is $25 - $30 per hour.
