Procurement Specialist
Arista Networks is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between Arista's suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Your contributions will be pivotal in evaluating and enhancing our procurement systems, processes, and supplier relationships to support the company's innovative networking solutions.
As a Procurement Specialist, your key responsibilities will include collaborating with internal customers and external vendors to research and request pricing, preparing and reviewing bids, issuing purchase orders, tracking orders, and addressing billing inquiries. You will analyze and refine purchasing processes to achieve cost savings, improve service levels, and manage inventory effectively. Additionally, you will oversee the acquisition and implementation of new automated purchasing and asset management systems, manage strategic supplier relationships, develop performance metrics, monitor software licensing compliance, and coordinate with Finance on asset management methods.
The ideal candidate will possess a BA or BS degree and have at least five years of purchasing experience, including working with automated purchasing systems. Experience with the entire procurement and asset management lifecycle in mid to large-sized companies is preferred. Strong skills in process improvement, strategic thinking, project management, problem-solving, and decision-making are essential. The ability to work independently or collaboratively, manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, and maintain a strong customer service orientation is also required.
