Process Manager

The Process Engineer at BESIX is responsible for leading the design and technical delivery of projects focused on wastewater, water, and solid waste treatment. This role involves managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial design through testing and commissioning, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with performance and regulatory standards. The Process Engineer reports directly to the Project Manager or Technical Manager and serves as the primary process interface across all engineering disciplines.

Key responsibilities include managing process-related activities throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating with internal teams and external designers, consultants, and suppliers to align with project objectives, and providing timely and accurate process information to support coordinated project delivery. The Process Engineer also ensures that all process designs meet safety, performance, quality, budget, and schedule requirements, and supports the Project Manager or Technical Manager with technical input, risk identification, and problem-solving.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, specializing in water and/or wastewater treatment, and has proven experience in process design and delivery of related projects within the region. Strong knowledge of local standards, regulations, and permitting requirements is essential, along with experience working in multidisciplinary project teams and managing external stakeholders. Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills are also required.
