Privacy Manager

Axon, a company dedicated to advancing public safety through innovative technology, is seeking a Privacy Manager to join their team in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This role is integral to shaping Axon's privacy posture in the U.S. and international markets, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and fostering a culture of privacy within the organization.

As a Privacy Manager, you will develop and implement privacy and data protection policies and strategies, collaborate with customers and regulators, and work closely with business and engineering stakeholders to operationalize these policies. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring less experienced privacy staff and acting as a privacy advocate within the company.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in privacy, data protection, or IT/security assurance, with strong knowledge of EU and global privacy matters. Experience in conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for cloud-based services, working cross-functionally with various teams, and familiarity with industry privacy standards such as the NIST Privacy Framework, ISO 27701, and ISO 42001 are essential.
