Privacy Analyst
Fivetran is seeking a Privacy Analyst to join its global SaaS company and growing legal team. This non-attorney role reports directly to the Data Protection Officer and plays a pivotal role in managing the company's global data protection compliance program. The position offers significant impact within a rapidly expanding organization dedicated to simplifying data access for thousands of companies.
The Privacy Analyst will manage projects ensuring compliance with privacy and data protection laws across various business areas. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining processes, policies, procedures, technical controls, and playbooks that support the global privacy and data protection program. The role also involves driving consistency in privacy practices, collaborating with team members on governance initiatives, and engaging cross-functionally with product, security, and engineering teams.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of technical issues such as cookie management and encryption, along with experience in writing business, functional, and technical requirements with specifications. Strong data analysis and project management skills are essential. While an engineering background is preferred, it is not required. Experience with privacy regulations and industry standards, including GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, ISO27701, PCI-DSS, NIST, EU Data Act, EU NIS2, and UK NIS, is highly desirable.
The compensation range for this position in Oakland is $141,854 to $177,317.50 per year.
