Principal Systems Test Operations Engineer

Graphcore, a British semiconductor company specializing in AI accelerators, is seeking a Principal Systems Test Operations Engineer to lead the technical direction for system-level manufacturing tests. This role is based in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, and is integral to ensuring the readiness of Graphcore's high-performance systems for production.

In this position, you will develop robust test strategies based on product requirements, directly influencing the quality of boards, blades, and rack-level systems. Your responsibilities include defining, deploying, and maintaining test platforms, fixtures, and diagnostic solutions, while collaborating closely with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to address complex testing challenges.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in PCBA and system product validation within production environments, a strong understanding of electronics fundamentals, and proficiency with Linux command-line environments. Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, clock generators, SMUs, and PSUs is essential. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of high-speed interconnects like PCIe Gen5/6 and Ethernet, server and data-center-level functional testing, and proficiency in programming languages such as C, Python, and Java.
