Principal Security Architect
Graphcore, a leader in AI computing systems, is seeking a Principal Security Architect to design and secure scalable infrastructure solutions for cryptographic key management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the security and compliance of Graphcore's hardware and software platforms. The position is based in Austin, Texas, and reports directly to the Chief Security Officer.
The Principal Security Architect will be responsible for evaluating, deploying, and managing Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) from the ground up. This includes developing organizational standards, policies, access models, and workflows to ensure consistent, secure usage of the platform. The role also involves conducting risk and compliance assessments to support system security plans and disaster recovery strategies.
Candidates should possess a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cryptography, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of deep technical experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), HSM deployment, and management is required. Strong knowledge of encryption technologies, security controls, and compliance frameworks is essential. Experience with authentication backends (OIDC, LDAP, cloud IAM), secret engines, PKI, encryption, and token/credential lifecycle is also necessary.
