Principal Product Manager, Developer Experience
CoreWeave is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Developer Experience to lead the development and enhancement of internal developer platforms and delivery tools. This role involves close collaboration with engineering leaders across various teams to identify inefficiencies, translate challenges into actionable solutions, and implement scalable improvements that enhance developer productivity and software delivery outcomes.
Key responsibilities include defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for internal developer experience platforms such as CI/CD systems and internal developer platforms. The role requires partnering with engineering leads to identify and prioritize high-value problems, conducting structured discovery with internal stakeholders to understand workflows and pain points, and managing backlogs across multiple teams to balance foundational platform investments with immediate developer needs. Additionally, the position involves driving the adoption of developer experience tooling through documentation and enablement sessions, and championing a "platform as a product" mindset.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in product management for developer platforms, internal tooling, or related technical products, or equivalent experience as an engineering manager or tech lead. A strong technical background with modern software delivery stacks, experience working with APIs and backend services, and hands-on experience with Kubernetes or other orchestrators are essential. The candidate should also possess excellent communication skills and a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
The base salary range for this role is $206,000 to $303,000, determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the base salary, the total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program.
