Principal Product Manager – AI Platform
As a Principal Product Manager – AI Platform at Interface AI, you will lead the development and enhancement of the company's core AI platform, which underpins all product offerings. This role is pivotal in shaping the technical direction and ensuring the scalability of the platform to serve millions of end users. You will collaborate closely with engineering leadership and mentor a team of product managers to maintain high standards and drive innovation.
Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing agent runtime and orchestration, managing platform contracts, and guiding the model lifecycle from selection to optimization. You will also focus on ensuring inference performance and reliability, implementing safety and compliance measures, and developing evaluation and quality metrics. Additionally, you will address voice and multimodal integration challenges and provide leadership within the product management pillar.
The ideal candidate will have over eight years of product management experience, with at least three years at a senior level focusing on platform, AI/ML, or infrastructure products. A deep technical understanding is essential, including the ability to read code, review architecture, and debug production issues. Experience with AI/ML platforms, governing platform contracts, and building in enterprise SaaS environments with compliance requirements is also required. Proficiency in using AI tools for prototyping and workflow automation is highly valued.
Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $250,000 to $320,000, supplemented by bonuses and equity, depending on location and experience.
