Principal Product and Test Engineer
The Principal Product and Test Engineer will lead the transition of hardware platforms from validated prototypes to scalable, production-ready products. This role encompasses both silicon (IVR) and system-level hardware targeting next-generation power solutions. The engineer will oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring successful integration and deployment.
Key responsibilities include coordinating DFx, qualification, and test strategies for silicon and system-level builds. The engineer will build structured handoff processes from engineering to manufacturing, including BOMs, specifications, validation plans, and release documentation. Additionally, they will manage relationships with foundries, OSATs, board manufacturers, and contract manufacturers, overseeing early builds, customer samples, and production ramps.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a proven track record in product development, hardware productization, or manufacturing. Deep experience with both silicon and system-level hardware is essential, along with expertise in scaling test infrastructure, supply chain coordination, and managing pilot to production ramp-ups. Strong leadership skills and excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities are also required.
The position offers a salary range of $200,000 to $240,000, based on experience, skills, and other factors.
