Principal Java Developer
Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is seeking a Principal Java Developer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. EITSI is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins Scientific, a global leader in life sciences, providing a unique range of analytical testing services across various industries. Our focus is on developing next-generation Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), customer portals, e-commerce solutions, ERP/CRM systems, mobile applications, and other B2B platforms for Eurofins Laboratories and businesses worldwide.
In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of complex, enterprise-scale Java applications. Your day-to-day activities will include leading technical direction for modules or subsystems, supporting modernization initiatives such as migrating from legacy systems to modern architectures, and acting as a technical mentor for engineers across teams. Collaboration with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams will be essential to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business and technology goals.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java (version 8 or higher), Spring Boot, RESTful API design, and SQL. Proficiency in object-oriented design principles, design patterns (SOLID, OOP), and experience with microservices architecture are crucial. Additional technical skills in Angular or React, MongoDB, and cloud-native development, particularly with Azure, are advantageous. A minimum of 6–10 years of hands-on experience in Java-based software development on global or enterprise projects is required, along with a strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
