Principal Java Developer (Angular/React)
Eurofins is seeking a Principal Java Developer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. As a key member of our global engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and modernizing next-generation applications, including Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), customer portals, and enterprise platforms. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality solutions that are scalable, performant, and reliable.
In this role, you will be responsible for the hands-on design and development of complex, enterprise-scale Java applications. You will lead technical direction for modules or subsystems while remaining actively involved in implementation. Your day-to-day activities will include supporting modernization initiatives, such as migrating from legacy or monolithic systems to modern architectures, and acting as a technical mentor and role model for engineers across teams. Collaboration with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams will be essential to deliver end-to-end solutions.
The ideal candidate will have 6–10 years of hands-on experience in Java-based software development on global or enterprise projects. A strong understanding of Java (8+), Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful API design, SQL, Angular, React, and MongoDB is required. Experience with microservices architecture, service communication, and integration patterns is highly desirable. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, are essential.
