Coupang Eats, Coupang's rapidly growing food delivery service in South Korea, is seeking a Principal for Eats Ads Strategy to lead the development and execution of advertising business strategies within the app. This role is pivotal in enhancing the advertising operations and driving the platform's growth.
The Principal will be responsible for formulating and managing advertising business strategies within the Coupang Eats app. Key duties include establishing and analyzing performance metrics for advertising products and operations, monitoring these metrics to ensure optimal performance, and identifying and resolving issues through quantitative analysis. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with various departments to discover and leverage business synergies.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic planning or business planning roles. Essential skills include strong analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and a keen business sense. The ability to make swift decisions in a fast-paced corporate environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and effectively communicate and collaborate with related departments is crucial. Proficiency in understanding and analyzing quantitative business data is also required.
Preferred qualifications include experience working in platform companies or startups, a passion for tackling challenges in dynamic and rapidly changing business sectors, and the ability to question and solve problems proactively. Proficiency in English for business communication is also advantageous.
