Pricing Strategy Senior Manager
The Pricing Strategy Senior Manager at Checkr will lead the development and execution of comprehensive pricing and packaging strategies across all go-to-market channels, including both high-touch sales and self-serve models. This role is pivotal in shaping Checkr's market position and financial performance by implementing scalable pricing models that cater to diverse customer segments. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive pricing initiatives that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include serving as the strategic architect for end-to-end pricing and packaging, developing data-driven pricing models for new and existing products, and establishing volume-based price points. The role also involves designing and implementing experiments to analyze customer purchasing behavior, price elasticity, and other key performance indicators. Additionally, the manager will partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Deal Desk, and Go-to-Market leadership to develop and evolve pricing for offerings, driving the Pricing Board approval process. Conducting in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing decisions and driving proposals to improve AI innovation and monetization infrastructure are also essential duties.
The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience, including at least 5 years in pricing and packaging within the B2B space, with a focus on significant pricing and packaging changes. Proven success in developing and launching scalable pricing models that drive measurable impact is essential. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in financial modeling, and the ability to collaborate across departments and influence senior stakeholders. Experience with Product-Led Growth (PLG) and Enterprise Sales monetization models is also desired.
Compensation for this role includes a base salary range of $202,000 to $261,800, along with competitive cash and equity compensation.
