POC Engineer
Arista Networks is seeking a Proof of Concept (POC) Engineer to join our team of networking experts dedicated to designing and demonstrating cutting-edge solutions. This customer-facing role is pivotal in driving new customer acquisitions and introducing innovative technologies to our global clientele.
As a POC Engineer, you will collaborate with Arista System Engineers and potential customers to develop and execute POC test plans, ensuring our products meet specific network design requirements. Your responsibilities will include designing and configuring complex test topologies, performing rigorous POC tests, and documenting results with detailed logs and reports. Additionally, you will host customers during POC sessions, demonstrating product capabilities and providing technical insights.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, with a preference for a Master's degree. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, system testing, network consulting, or systems engineering is required. Proficiency in deploying and troubleshooting protocols such as STP, LACP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS is essential. Experience with network virtualization technologies like VXLAN and OpenStack, as well as scripting skills in Python, Tcl, or Perl, are highly desirable.
Arista Networks offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of CAD 104,000 to 147,000, along with discretionary bonuses and equity options.
