Platform/Release Engineering Team Lead
BrainRocket is seeking a Platform/Release Engineering Team Lead to join our dynamic team in one of our European offices: Belgrade, Serbia; Lisbon, Portugal; Sofia City, Bulgaria; or Warsaw, Poland. In this role, you will lead our internal Continuous Integration (CI) infrastructure team, aiming to build a seamless and efficient Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Your primary responsibilities include managing the team, defining the strategic direction for company-wide CI/CD infrastructure, driving the migration of service deployments to ArgoCD and Argo Rollouts, developing internal services to optimize team workflows, integrating static analysis tools for code quality checks, and accelerating build and distribution pipelines for mobile and web applications.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Release Engineering, along with proven team leadership or technical lead experience. Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm is essential, as well as hands-on experience with ArgoCD and Argo Rollouts. Proficiency in GitLab CI and Jenkins, strong programming skills in Python (or TypeScript/JavaScript), and solid experience with Grafana and OpenTelemetry are also required. A thorough understanding of microservices architecture, message brokers, and network protocols is necessary, along with familiarity with building and delivering mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications.
