Grab's Legal function is dedicated to leveraging technology to manage risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and support rapid growth across the region. We are seeking a specialized Platform Engineer – Legal Technology to architect, build, and govern agentic workflows and deterministic automations that power our Legal and Privacy operations. This role is crucial in translating complex legal requirements into efficient, scalable systems that enhance our productivity and service delivery.

As a Platform Engineer in the Legal Operations Team, you will partner closely with Legal stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into practical technical solutions. Your responsibilities include full lifecycle management of technology solutions facilitating legal compliance, such as data governance and privacy compliance projects. Collaborating with Grabber Technology Services and Tech Infrastructure teams, you will develop legal-specific functionalities, including custom AI skills, agentic mini-apps, and deterministic automations.

Key responsibilities involve leading the architecture, configuration, and implementation of critical third-party legal and privacy platforms, as well as internally developed enterprise AI solutions. You will design Python-based data extraction scripts, manage structured rule sets for legal use cases, and deploy AI agents into daily workflows. Additionally, you will develop solutions to ensure Grab's policies are correctly implemented, optimizing for both regulatory adherence and business enablement.

The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in technical roles focused on Software Development, Legal Operations, or Data Privacy Engineering. Proficiency in software development, data architecture, and implementing data protection controls is essential. Experience with Python, structured prompt design using Markdown, API/MCP integration, and deterministic logic building is required. Knowledge of enterprise AI infrastructure and orchestration tools is preferred.
