Platform Engineer (DataOps)

Black Canyon Consulting (BCC) is seeking a Platform Engineer (DataOps) to join their team supporting the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the National Library of Medicine (NLM), a division of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This full-time position offers flexibility with options for both onsite work in Bethesda, MD, and remote work arrangements. NCBI is renowned for providing free access to biomedical literature and genomic data, serving as a critical resource for researchers, educators, and the public. The DataOps Platform team at NCBI is embarking on an initiative to develop an enterprise-wide DataOps platform, leveraging modern technologies such as Kubernetes, GitOps, and containerization to address complex, data-intensive applications.
