Plant Floor Systems Engineer
Lucid Motors is seeking a Plant Floor Systems Engineer to join our team in Casa Grande, Arizona. This role is integral to our mission of delivering luxury electric vehicles that redefine performance and intelligence. As part of our manufacturing team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) on the plant floor.
In this position, you will be responsible for integrating, operating, and maintaining the MES within the plant. Your daily tasks will include establishing MES design principles, implementing documentation and maintenance procedures, and collaborating with manufacturing teams, line integrators, and vendors during system installations and validations. Additionally, you will ensure system uptime, perform backups, and develop consistent metrics for continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 2-4 years of manufacturing experience focusing on IT applications and plant floor operations. Proficiency in SCADA, IoT, or MES systems is essential, as well as expertise in SCADA software such as Ignition, Iconics, or Cimplicity. Strong programming skills in languages like SQL, OPC, HTML, Java, Python, C#, and Visual Basic are required. Familiarity with PLC programming and HMI development for platforms like Rockwell and Siemens is also necessary.
