Physics Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project

As a Physics Specialist in the Freelance AI Trainer Project, you will play a pivotal role in advancing artificial intelligence by providing high-quality training data. This position is part of a dedicated team focused on enhancing AI models to democratize education, support cutting-edge research, and streamline scientific workflows.

Your primary responsibilities will include engaging with advanced language models on complex physics topics such as Schrödinger equations, Maxwell's laws, quantum field theory, thermodynamic cycles, Lagrangian mechanics, cosmological models, and numerical simulations. You will assess the models' problem-solving strategies, verify factual accuracy and logical soundness, document reproducible error traces, and suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

The ideal candidate holds a master's or PhD in physics or a closely related physical science field. Demonstrated experience through peer-reviewed publications, laboratory or theoretical research, or hands-on computational modeling projects is highly valued. Clear, metacognitive communication—effectively "showing your work"—is essential for success in this role.

Compensation for this contract position ranges from $8 to $65 per hour, determined based on experience, expertise, and geographic location. As a contractor, you are expected to provide a secure computer and high-speed internet connection.
