People Shared Services Analyst (12-month Contract)
The People Shared Services Analyst role at Canva is a 12-month contract position based in Makati City, Philippines. This role is part of the People Central Tier 1 team, which is dedicated to providing first-line support for various People processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and helpdesk assistance. As a People Operations Analyst, you will be the initial point of contact for employee inquiries, collaborating with departments such as Technology, Finance, Legal, and leadership to ensure exceptional experiences for all Canvanauts.
Key responsibilities include delivering prompt and high-quality responses to employee inquiries, managing a high volume of requests through the JIRA Service Management system, and supporting core employee lifecycle processes like onboarding and offboarding. Additionally, you will process and approve self-service requests in Workday, respond to general policy questions, escalate complex queries to Tier 2 teams, and maintain clear documentation and standard operating procedures to facilitate self-service and knowledge sharing among employees.
The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in HR Shared Services, HR Administration, or HRIS Support, preferably supporting multi-region teams across APAC, Americas, and EMEA. Proficiency in managing high volumes of requests while maintaining quality and meeting service level agreements is essential. Strong attention to detail, ownership of work, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Familiarity with tools such as Workday HCM, JIRA Service Management, and Confluence is advantageous.
