People Business Partner, Employee Relations & Governance
The People Business Partner, Employee Relations & Governance at Remote is a pivotal role focused on establishing and maintaining robust governance frameworks for a globally distributed workforce. This position is integral to ensuring fairness, compliance, and operational excellence across diverse jurisdictions. The role reports directly to the Director of People Business Partners and collaborates closely with internal People teams and Legal departments.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the entire lifecycle of global People policies, from drafting and review to implementation and ongoing maintenance, ensuring they are globally compliant and scalable. The role also involves developing and maintaining standardized operating procedures and consultation guides to ensure consistent and fair application of policies. Managing complex employee relations cases and formal investigations, providing guidance on performance management processes, and identifying systemic risks and trends in employee relations and compliance data are also central to this position.
Candidates should have proven experience in a People function with a primary focus on Employee Relations and Compliance, demonstrating the ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations cases across multiple jurisdictions. Strong analytical skills to assess systemic data and translate findings into actionable recommendations are essential. Experience in advising management on mitigating legal risks while promoting positive employee engagement, as well as expertise in developing and implementing global People policies and standardized operating procedures, are also required.
The compensation package includes a base salary range of $46,500 to $130,850, determined by factors such as location, skills, experience, and market demands.
