Payroll Specialist
Arista Networks is seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to manage the bi-weekly, multi-state payroll administration for approximately 2,500 employees across more than 40 states. This role is integral to ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, tax compliance, and adherence to state legislation. The Payroll Specialist will collaborate closely with the US Payroll team and other internal and external stakeholders to maintain seamless payroll operations.
Key responsibilities include responding to employee inquiries through the company's CRM system, coordinating with the US and global teams to address payroll-related issues, and managing communications with payroll partners. The role also involves overseeing the payroll cycle from input to output, handling off-cycle payments, supporting audits, reconciling benefits, and ensuring accurate general ledger postings. Additionally, the Payroll Specialist will participate in payroll projects such as acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience managing international, multi-state payrolls, both in-house and outsourced. Proficiency in payroll accounting, equity, and benefits management is essential. The candidate should demonstrate a high degree of accuracy, be proactive in validating work, and possess strong organizational and time-management skills. Fluency in English and at least one other language is preferred, along with experience using payroll and HR software, as well as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
