Partnerships Director - Sports & Talent
Epic Games is seeking a Partnerships Director to lead and execute key partnerships within the sports industry, focusing on integrating top global sports elements—such as athletes, teams, leagues, and significant sporting moments—into Epic's gaming ecosystem. This role is pivotal in enhancing the authenticity and appeal of titles like Fortnite and Rocket League by collaborating with the Consumer team to deliver innovative gaming experiences.
The Partnerships Director will be responsible for managing day-to-day engagements with external partners, ensuring that all campaign elements align with both partner objectives and Epic's brand standards. Key duties include developing strong relationships with leagues, talent agencies, athletes, and brand partners; representing Epic at major industry events; collaborating with internal teams to align partnership initiatives with broader business objectives; and overseeing the end-to-end execution of partnership campaigns.
Candidates should possess 8–10+ years of experience in sports partnerships and talent deal-making, with a proven track record of closing and executing high-profile deals. A deep understanding of the sports and talent landscape, including leagues, teams, talent, and agencies, is essential. The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask across projects, and experience in sourcing and negotiating new sports partnerships.
