Part Time - Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. As the industry leader in self-storage, we offer flexible schedules and a supportive work environment. Key responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs and recommending appropriate solutions, including the sale of packing and moving supplies. The role involves conducting daily inspections of storage units to confirm inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payments, including making reminder and collection calls as necessary.
Successful candidates will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurants, fast food, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of a personal vehicle for travel between work locations are required, with mileage reimbursement provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds, and spending up to 50% of the time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and performing cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Compensation for this part-time position is $14.00 per hour. Employees working an average of 20+ hours per week become eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, sick time, and flexible spending accounts. Company-paid life and accidental death insurance, as well as exclusive vendor discounts, are also offered. Mileage reimbursement is provided for work-related travel between properties.
