Part-Time Accounts Assistant - Eurofins Enviro-Works
Eurofins Enviro-Works is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. Eurofins Scientific is a global leader in life sciences, offering a comprehensive range of analytical testing services to ensure the safety and authenticity of products across various industries. This role is integral to maintaining the financial operations within our dynamic corporate environment.
The Accounts Assistant will primarily focus on accounts receivable and collections, ensuring that invoices are accurately issued and payments are received promptly. Key responsibilities include reviewing invoices for proper documentation and approval, communicating with clients regarding outstanding balances, maintaining precise financial records, scheduling and processing payments in line with company policies, addressing client inquiries about their accounts, monitoring aging reports, and assisting with other projects as needed.
Candidates should have experience with Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills. A diploma in Accounting from a Canadian institution is advantageous, as is prior experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting support. The role requires the ability to handle a high volume of transactions, meet deadlines, provide excellent customer service, multitask, manage time efficiently, and work independently with a strong sense of accountability. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
